WHAT WE DO
eSJay Creative Works is built around one belief:
your story is an asset, and it deserves the same rigor as any other part of your business.
We find the language that other people can’t quite find for themselves, for companies building or repositioning a brand, for executives shaping how they’re seen and heard, and for leaders finding the words, the voice, or the next chapter that’s been sitting just out of reach.
BRAND STRATEGY
Positioning, narrative architecture, and message development for brands stepping into a bigger story, a relaunch, a new market, a moment that calls for a sharper point of view. This includes brand voice and messaging, website and campaign narrative direction, and full repositioning strategy.
EXECUTIVE and PERSONAL BRANDING
Helping leaders define and own how they’re seen, heard, and remembered, ahead of a launch, a board seat, a public moment, or simply a career that’s outgrown its current story. This includes personal brand strategy, visibility and positioning plans, and bio, talk, and media-presence development.
GHOSTWRITING
Finding your voice on the page, from speeches, essays, op-eds, books, and everything in between, so what gets published sounds unmistakably like you, just sharper. This includes keynote and talk writing, long-form essays and op-eds, and book and memoir collaboration.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Sharpening how leaders show up, communicate, and lead the room, or leaders growing into a bigger role, not just leaders leaving one. This includes communication and presence coaching, one-on-one leadership advisory, and workshop facilitation for teams and cohorts.
TRANSITION AND EXIT ADVISORY
Strategic counsel for leaders navigating corporate transition, exit, or reinvention, particularly leaders of color moving through the post-DEI corporate landscape. This includes individual advisory engagements, exit and repositioning strategy, and group workshop facilitation.
AI READINESS AND INTEGRATION
Helping leaders and teams build real working fluency with AI, not a one-off lecture, but a practical foundation for using these tools well, ethically, and with judgment. Developed through hands-on work designing and leading the AI readiness component of a major foundation’s staff retreat, and refined through a curated AI literacy session built and co-led with a technical collaborator. This includes organizational AI readiness assessments, staff training and workshops, and ongoing advisory for leaders integrating AI into how their teams actually work.
Engagements are scoped individually and typically take one of three shapes:
ADVISORY RETAINER, ongoing monthly strategic counsel PROJECT-BASED.
A defined deliverable with a clear start and finish WORKSHOP / INTENSIVE, a single
concentrated session or short series for an individual or group
